ActionAid Guatemala

ActionAid is an international organization working during the last three decades in 40 countries with high level of poverty in Latin America, Africa and Asia. In Guatemala we started in 1,997 with the objective to reduce poverty and its causes and to support the democratisation process initiated with the signing of the Peace Accords in December 1996.

ActionAid Guatemala is part of ActionAid Alliance (www.actionaidallliance.org), a group of independent development organizations with a common identity, working to eradicate injustice and poverty around the world. There are members of the Alliance in United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, France, Ireland and Spain, who share the same objectives, values, philosophy and operational standards.
